About me and my therapy practice

A very warm welcome! My aim is to make therapy a safe and inviting space for you to explore whatever is troubling you. My approach is person-centred and mindfulness-based. I offer face-to-face sessions or we could meet online if you prefer.

The decision to start therapy can be a difficult first step towards healing, and finding the right therapist is crucial. Research shows that the relationship between counsellor and client is one of the main factors in successful therapy. We are often wounded in relationship, whether as children or as adults, and I believe it is in relationship that we can also be healed.

My approach to therapy is minfulness-based and person-centred. The person-centred approach moves away from the idea of the therapist as an expert who can fix you, trusting instead that you have the innate capacity to fulfil your own potential, given the right conditions. A strong and caring therapeutic relationship, based in genuine acceptance and empathic understanding, forms the foundation of person-centred therapy.

Practice description

I provide short- and long-term therapy online and face-to-face. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. My counselling practice is located in the heart of the Norwich Lanes just off the Market Square.

In that first meeting, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, address any questions or concerns you might have, and see whether it feels right for us to work together. If you decide to continue, we can then arrange a regular time and day of the week that works for you
