About me and my therapy practice
Are you looking for a therapist in central Norwich? I offer counselling and psychotherapy which is person-centred and mindfulness-based. My aim is to create a safe and inviting space to explore whatever is troubling you.
The decision to start therapy can be a difficult first step towards healing, and finding the right therapist is crucial. Research shows that the relationship between counsellor and client is one of the main factors in successful therapy. We are often wounded in relationship, and I believe it is in relationship that we can also be healed.
Person-centred therapy moves away from the idea of the therapist as an expert who can fix you, trusting instead that you have the innate capacity to fulfil your own potential, given the right conditions. A strong and caring therapeutic relationship, based in genuine acceptance and empathic understanding, forms the foundation of person-centred therapy.
I am passionate about the approach that I use, and I love the challenge of my work with clients. I choose to work in a person-centred way because it is a deeply respectful and effective approach to therapy.
My personal pronouns are he/him.
I provide short- and long-term therapy online and face-to-face. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. My counselling practice is located in the heart of the Norwich Lanes just off the Market Square.
