About me and my therapy practice
I understand that the thought of beginning counselling may be daunting. I hope that my non-judgemental, and flexible style makes that first step easier. Counselling can provide space to explore how past experiences and feelings may be influencing how you feel about yourself, your environment and others. Counselling can also be helpful if you are feeling a disconnect within yourself or your environment. I offer confidential and supportive space in which we can think about and explore the feelings that bring you to counselling. Together we will work to gain a better understanding of yourself, your situation and how to best move forward in a way that resonates with your true self.
I am a qualified and registered counsellor and psychotherapist who is a member of the BACP. I have over 3 years of experience using both Psychodynamic and Humanistic approaches. I have included art, music and imagery in sessions and understand that these interests and hobbies can be a big part of a clients identity.
I work within the BACP ethical framework which includes confidentiality within the sessions, professional development, and supervision to support my therapeutic work.
