About me and my therapy practice

As a Humanistic counsellor, I believe that every human being strives to become the best version of themselves and is capable of it.

You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or depressed. You may be feeling lost, looking for meaning or going through difficult times.

Together we can create a safe space where you feel comfortable reflecting on aspects of your identity as well as exploring any challenges you may be facing. It is a place where you can revisit past events, and plan for the future.

I will welcome you without judgement or expectation. I will focus on your experience and your perception of the world with empathy and unconditionality.

Practice description

I work with adults as well as young people

  • Autistic individuals

I have extensive experience working with Autistic individuals; adults and children. I have worked for the past seven years in an Autism specific school, where I have supported students and parents through difficult times. I greatly respect neurodiversity and I believe that every person should have the appropriate space to explore any struggles.

  • Children and adolescents

I am currently working in a school setting where I support students from 11 to 19 years old.

I am passionate about providing a space where young people feel heard. I believe that by co creating a positive relationship of trust, dialogue is encouraged and growth is enabled.

I offer a range of creative approach, such as: Sand Tray therapy or Talking and Drawing.

My first session

Before we book a first session together, I invite you to arrange a phone call with me. This first contact will allow us to have an initial assessment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.

During the first session we might be focussing on the reason of your presence as well as your current sense of being. Like in any other session, I will welcome you without expectation or judgment. I will focus on your experience and your perception of the world with empathy and unconditionality.

We can discuss in the first session how many sessions you want to attend or whether you want to leave it open-ended. We will discuss and agree on a mutual contract.
