About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified & experienced integrative counsellor who has been practising in central Bristol for over 10 years, helping clients with a range of issues.
I have trained in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), a pioneering form of therapy teaching people how to be kinder to themselves, which has a hugely positive impact on general wellbeing and self-esteem and in turn on relationships, work and life in general. I am passionate about its effectiveness and in enabling people to develop positive self-feelings.
I also have experience of running 'Managing Anxiety' workshops and working with clients with a range of complex needs in an NHS setting.
I completed my Masters in Counselling at the University of Bristol, am a member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (MBACP) and am listed on their Register of Practitioners.
I believe counselling plays an important part in a holistic approach to health and I incorporate concepts of mindfulness into my therapeutic approach.
