About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my page as you take the courageous step to find help to deal with whatever is worrying you.
I usually work in a Quiet Room in Ipswich and normally offer a fifty minute face-to-face therapy session. However, due to the current Coronavirus pandemic and government social distancing guidance, I conduct my therapy sessions via video chat and telephone call.
In these unprecedented times both these modes of counselling have proved effective with clients and I look forward to resuming face-to-face sessions when it is safe to do so.
I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor who is calm, caring and empathetic. I offer a professional, warm and confidential service, in line with the BACP ethical framework for counselling and psychotherapy. Person-centred counselling believes in an individual’s own knowledge of self. In my practice we shall work together to unveil what is wrong and discover how to solve it.
I have extensive experience in working in these areas:
• Health Issues;
• Relationship Issues;
• Work Related Issues; and,
• Couples Therapy.
For a full list of issues I can help with, please see the 'What I can help with' section.
If this approach interests you, please get in touch via the options available on my page. If you choose to call and I'm unable to answer, please leave a brief message, with both your name and a convenient time and I shall call you back.
My first session
Our first session will offer you an opportunity to talk about the reason you are seeking counselling. During this session, you will share your concerns and together we shall explore ways that our work can help to resolve those issues.
We can schedule regular contact which will be your time for us to work together to help and support you through this process.
