About me and my therapy practice

I work in different ways, offering online counselling, traditional counselling room setting, Walk and Talk ecotherapy and Equine Assisted Counselling with horses as co-facilitators. I work in Amersham and Aylesbury Vale.

Walk and Talk counselling is just like it sounds – you and I walking outside during the counselling session. Many clients feel this is a more relaxed way of working. Walking is beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing. I offer this style of counselling in Herts, Beds and Bucks.

I work with couples and families and I am trained in Gottman couples counselling please see my website for full details on how I work with couples using the Gottman Method Couples Counselling.   When working with larger families I work with a co-therapist, enabling us both to jointly facilitate the therapy work.

Family counselling is a great way of exploring issues without blame and to work through problems as they arise. I support families working on co-parenting, step-parents and any other issues where the family have become stuck.

I am a member of BICA and support couples who are thinking about fertility treatment or who are on the road of having treatment.

Practice description

Online counselling sessions are provided using encrypted sites such as Zoom, Facetime and WhatsApp.  This is a great way to access sessions as it reduces travel time and most couples find this a more convenient way to schedule in meetings.
