About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and welcome to my page.
I am a fully qualified therapist, working with adults and young people. Aside from private clients, I work in local schools as a school counsellor, both at primary and secondary level.
I work in an 'integrative' way, tailoring support to my clients' needs. This means that I use both talk-therapy approaches and more creative techniques, depending on personal preference. I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Creative Therapy and Play Therapy. I am also a fully qualified 'Cyber Therapist', which means I can provide sessions remotely, via video, phone or email.
I can see clients from my home, or provide sessions remotely via phone, video or email.
My first session
The first session provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I will usually undertake an assessment, to find out more about you and your needs, and answer any questions you may have about therapy. We would then discuss whether you would like to go forward with therapy, and if so, what this would entail e.g. how many sessions, regularity, timings and so on.
