About me and my therapy practice
Whatever brings you to counselling I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space. My aim would be to develop a trusting relationship in which you feel respected, and able to express and explore whatever is going on for you, however difficult or painful that may be. I would support you in developing new awareness and finding a way forward.
I have worked effectively with people experiencing a range of issues including bereavement, loss, life-changes and transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, stress, low self-esteem, exploring identity, academic and work pressures, and existential and spiritual issues.
I am a warm and attentive listener. My main way of working is person-centred but I use aspects of other ways of working when helpful.
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
