About me and my therapy practice
I offer short and long term counselling and psychotherapy for individuals in Brighton and Hove.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to speak freely about the issues that are of most concern to you.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychology (BACP) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Finding a counsellor can be a daunting experience. I always suggest an introductory session. This is important for me to gain a clear picture of what is bringing you into therapy. It is also important for you, giving you an opportunity to meet me personally and to discover if I am the right therapist for you. Together we would work out the best way forward.
I have an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling and am trained in integrative therapy, combining psychodynamic, person-centered and CBT theory in a relational way. This means that I shape the therapy I offer around each individual and your needs. I will work flexibly with the issues you bring, offering either short-term or long-term sessions, which we will discuss in our first session.
