About me and my therapy practice
Do you need someone to talk to, space, where your voice, is heard, a place where you can be yourself? A warm inviting space for you to talk about what feels important to you? Feeling sad, worried, or alone, this could be the place for you.
I am caring, warm, and passionate about helping others work through what feels difficult.
I work with clients in a confidential, non-judgemental space where they are valued and respected.
My approach to therapy is integrative, this means that I offer different types of therapy. Person, Centred(Humanistic) I work to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients, and together we can think about feelings, experiences, and relationships. CBT is solution-based, I help clients to understand the connection between their thoughts and feelings, and how thoughts and feelings influence their behaviour.
My first session
Finding the right person to trust when seeking help can seem overwhelming. I offer an initial 30-minute free consultation. This meeting is an opportunity for to consider if counselling is what you need, and to consider your goals for counselling. It is also an opportunity for you to determine whether you feel comfortable to work with me.
