About me and my therapy practice

I’m a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist and coach. I help individuals who want more than traditional counselling or coaching can offer alone, providing a safe and confidential space for exploration and growth. Working together, we can explore current and past difficulties, and I can also offer you opportunities to look forward, learning and applying unique tools to tackle whatever the future brings. Working this way allows meaningful healing and lasting change to be achieved. We are all unique and there is no ‘one size fits all’ model - I will always work with you as an individual. I work with people not problems!

To be able to explore overwhelming feelings without feeling judged requires trust to be present and building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my approach. Together we will explore your difficulties and move forward towards meaningful change and growth in your life.

Opening up to someone outside of your friends and family circle can be helpful to see things from a different perspective. The confidentiality and non-judgemental approach offered at the heart of therapy means you can feel free to explore even the most difficult feelings, allowing you to feel seen and heard.

Practice description

I work in person from a spacious and comfortable therapy room near Haggerston station and also offer appointments online.

I specialise in working with anxiety, depression, identity and relationship issues. I am BACP registered and hold a postgraduate diploma in counselling and coaching from the University of East London. I also have further training in working with bereavement and loss and with postnatal depression/anxiety and family issues.

My first session

Our first session will be a chance for us to meet, whether in person or online, and for you to tell me your story. There is no obligation to continue so it can be a good opportunity to see whether you think we can work together.

I understand that the decision to come to counselling requires courage - facing ourselves and our difficulties is never an easy task. It's normal to feel nervous ahead of our first session and I always aim to offer a warm and accepting space for you to open up about your life and your struggles. I hope that you will go away feeling heard and understood.

I can’t promise the process will always be easy, but I can offer a warm, respectful, confidential and non-judgemental environment to explore whatever life has thrown your way.
