About me and my therapy practice
I work 2 days per week as a private psychotherapist offering remote sessions via video and face to face at a Westminster., London address. I have been in practicing for a number of years for the NHS services primarily providing CBT as a manager and senior therapist.
I currently work with primary care psychology as a senior practitioner of CBT working with complex issues effecting peoples relationships to themselves others and the world around them.
I begun my practice as an integrative and psychodynamic practitioner so now I can draw on an eclectic mix of modalities to best suit the individual's needs.
I am happy to offer a time limited approach if there are specific goals in mind.
I also work long term with those who wish to spend time to explore deeper rooted, complex difficulties as well as self development and improvement .
My approaches include, psychotherapy, counselling, coaching and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Each intervention is uniquely formulated to meet the individual's needs. I review regularly and ask that you feedback any concerns or changes throughout therapy so the process remains collaborative and enables growth and movement
I see clients face to face (but this is currently suspended) as well as remotely via a variety of secure digital media platforms. The practice is on the ground floor for anyone with mobility issues.
I am happy to work with the support of family and friends if it is helpful to the client and part of our agreed shred therapy plan.
It is important that confidentiality, safety and trust is acknowledged and provided. I will outline the relevant details of how I mange and adhere to ethnical and statutory standards in a contract. All communication will be encrypted where possible and all personal details, where there is a need to store, will be on secure data base provided by the same company used in NHS primary care.

My first session
The first session is usually 90 minutes. This allows time to assess the presenting issue, check suitability of approach offered and most importantly, check compatibility.
The corner stone of any meaningful and successful therapy is trust, collaboration and safety.
If agreed, we should be able to arrange the next few sessions with time set to review and assess whether therapy is useful, meeting your needs and the relationship is working well.
I will ask that you review the therapy contract and you are happy and clear with the terms of confidentiality, cancellation policy and each others responsibility in the relationship
