About me and my therapy practice
She has received specialist training in: TA, Group Psychotherapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, working therapeutically outdoors, LGBT, Trauma, NLP, the Mind Be-friending Scheme and the Mental Health organisation.
Counselling will offer you the opportunity to explore the kinds of problems which many of us encounter at either home or work, whether they are current problems of a practical nature or repetitive patterns from your past, affecting your daily life.
Laura will work to help you make the changes you want, in a professional environment, where you will feel safe and respected, using effective psychotherapy to make a real difference to your life. She will listen to you with skill and empathy, remaining non-judgemental with the aim of supporting you to make the changes you seek. Or if you are unsure why you feel unhappy, then that’s OK; you will have the space to explore this and will work at a pace that is right for you.
Laura offers a no-obligation, free half an hour for you to explain your situation. She will determine whether psychotherapy or counselling will be of benefit to you and if you decide to work together, you will have your first session straight away.
