About me and my therapy practice
I am a MBACP (accred.) Counsellor Psychotherapist and UKCP Reg. Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist. MA. I offer both long and short term individual therapy. I also provide supervision.
At various times difficulties in our life and relationships can feel really stuck and overwhelming. I provide a supportive, confidential space to explore how you are feeling and talk through the problems you might be experiencing. This may include looking at the past which can influence your current ways of relating and coping and help to gain insight and understanding. We can explore different, more effective ways of coping and dealing with the painful difficulties and help support you to make any changes.
My experience includes having worked for the NHS Woman's Service as a Psychotherapist, Group Facilitator. I was Head of Counselling for a voluntary service and worked for an Alcohol misuse service; Consultant Supervisor for Cruse and providing supervision for various services including rape and sexual abuse. I am a recognised Counsellor for various organisations including a private health provider.
