About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered therapist and I have worked within various NHS settings and GP practices working with adults.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and this can be for many reasons. During these times, we may experience conflicting emotions such as anxiety, isolation, feeling stuck and a sense of loneliness that has an impact on our thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Sharing your difficulties with a complete stranger can feel daunting and uncomfortable but can also bring a sense of relief and normality into your life.
My practice is underpinned by Carl Rogers Person Centered Theory, believing that each individual is unique and has the capacity to bring about change. My aim is to walk alongside you in your journey, to explore your worldview, feelings, thoughts and behaviour, enabling your understanding of these emotions and self-awareness.
I am empathic and non-judgmental and work to create a safe and confidential relationship with my clients by valuing my clients capacity to know what’s best for them.
I have a particular interest in Family Relationships and how they shape us.
I am flexible in meeting my clients needs and requirements, offering long or short term work, with an initial first session.
I am able to offer face-face, Zoom and Skype or just telephone time. I am based a short distance from Farnham within easy access from the A31 and A3.
My fees are £45/50min sessions.
