About me and my therapy practice
Humanistic values underpin my counselling and I work as an integrative counsellor using the most appropriate interventions to meet my clients’ needs.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to make life-enhancing changes when provided with the appropriate environment of understanding, trust, respect, challenge and security.
My hope is that counselling will support and enable my clients to make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviours - gaining self-awareness, understanding and personal insight into issues and problems. My Humanistic based approach resources and develops the client's own potential and resources to establish a fresh approach to difficult aspects of life and positive change.
Counselling is confidential and takes place with just you and me, your counsellor. A counselling agreement will discuss and define how we can work together productively, safely and confidentially.
