About me and my therapy practice
Counselling, Ecotherapy and Supervision in Honiton and Exeter.
You, the client are right at the centre. Making changes is not easy and it takes courage and effort to come to counselling and I respect you for it.
I work to build a relationship based on trust, professionalism and accountability, with room for creative exploration. I try to avoid jargon and keep it practical and down to earth. I am trained in humanistic, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic approaches, so there is a wide range of interventions to draw from based on what suits you best.
We use the sessions to explore whatever you want, whether that is issues from the past, difficulties in the present, or concerns about the future. Often all three can be linked. We work at your pace, with your agenda: I see you as your own best expert. I welcome all clients regardless of age, disability, or sexuality.
Working outdoors is also a possibility please see my website: www.ottercounselling.co.uk
