About me and my therapy practice

I have been counselling for 22 years, 20 of those in private practice. I have been solely in private practice seeing individuals and couples for Counselling for the last 11 years. I trained as a counsellor first and then went back to train as a Psychotherapist.

My training model was Gestalt and my overall approach is Humanistic, though over the years I have done many additional trainings which now also influence my work. I very much focus on the relationship as fundamental.

I work short term or long term work, as required. I do offer concessions for those on low-income that can come daytimes so do enquire.

I specialise in, issues surrounding childhood sexual abuse, sexuality, depression and anxiety.

I have been supervising for over 18 years now and offer Supervision to trainee or qualified counsellors and psychotherapists.
