About me and my therapy practice
Addiction does not discriminate; it effects people from all walks of life. If you or a loved one has struggled with a substance or behavioural addiction you will be fully aware of the devastation it causes throughout the family. Drink, drugs, sex and gambling (to name a few) all have the potential to take hold of our lives and down into a pit of despair.
As a recovered addict, I have been in your shoes and found a way out. I believe this experience enables me to develop strong therapeutic relationships and really connect with clients on an empathic level. I specialise in the treatment of substance and behavioural addictions.
Additionally, I work with family members who are experiencing the devastating effects of the addiction. I offer a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment, tailoring recovery plans to suit the individual. I’m a firm believer that there’s more than one approach to treat an addiction and have a flexible attitude when working with clients.
Due to my past experience of addiction I believe that it's my calling to become an addiction therapist and help others from darkness into the light. I am a passionate and hard working individual and urge anyone suffering to contact me and start their journey to freedom.
Please feel free to contact me, for a discussion before deciding to commit to therapy.
