I'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future!
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Rob and I am a BPC and BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor.
Like everyone, the novel coronavirus crisis is having an impact on my life and counselling practice. I’ve recently changed the way I work, so let me tell you about my current offer:
I have moved my practice online, using Skype to connect with clients in a virtual face to face environment,
I have reduced my fees from £66.50/£57 (evening/daytime) to just £40 (daytime only) for the duration of the lockdown,
I am offering a free 30 minute consultation to every new client, with no obligation to continue.
I hope the above concessions will make it easier for anyone considering counselling to reach out to me in these uncertain times. If you’d like to take advantage of my offer, please send me a message.
It’s understandable that the coronavirus will be at the forefront of our minds, with 24 hour news coverage and never ending social media updates. For many, however, the coronavirus does not replace existing concerns but rather adds to them and makes them worse. If you’re reading this now, I imagine this is something to which you can relate.
I’m experienced in helping people to overcome anxiety, depression, stress and frustration. I’ve worked in NHS crisis settings with people experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings, so know how to stay calm under pressure. I’m interested in you as a person and not at all interested in numbers, statistics or ‘rate your mood on a scale of one to ten’ type interventions.
I hope to come across as friendly and engaging, so if this is your first experience of counselling, I aim to make it easy for you – or as easy as it can be, at least to begin with. I’m passionate about many things, including philosophy, politics, society and the environment but in my consulting room, you are my priority. If you choose to work with me, the privilege will be mine.
Why not send me a message and take up my offer of a free consultation? Remember, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
