About me and my therapy practice
Based in South West Wales, I offer online, telephone , and in person therapy sessions.
Through long or short term counselling, together we will build a safe connection, which will enable us to explore the reasons you sought support.
I aim to offer a safe space for any feelings you are consciously or unconsciously bringing. Together we can find ways for you to find a stable, grounded way of coping with upset from your past and recent life.
Through life experiences, self-reflection and study I am aware of many feelings that can becoming overwhelming and stop your ability to find or continue the life you want and hope for. Grief, bereavement, shame, fear, climate-crisis anxiety, confusion are just a few feelings that you maybe familiar with and I am able to be beside you in understanding and moving through them.
I consider myself to be client centred, attachment focused and relational. I have a BA in Counselling and have worked with adopting Parents challenged with their adopted children. I have worked within bereavement support services and Carmarthenshire Counselling Services offering short term counselling. I have had the opportunity to mentor and offer 'special time' to children and young people for over 20 years. I have a particular interest in grief, how our early attachment affects us, intersectionality and ending oppression work.
