About me and my therapy practice
We can have lots of different reasons for seeking therapy. Sometimes we learn from our earliest relationships that difficult, uncomfortable emotions aren’t ‘OK’ so we learn to push them away so we don’t have to feel. Although these strategies can help in the short term, longer term, these strategies end up causing us more pain and suffering, often leaving us wondering where uncomfortable feelings have come from.
Emotions are sometimes difficult to process.
Having a regular safe space to talk with a professional can help you process these difficult emotions safely. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, listened to, respected, and not judged. I offer a warm and empathic space to explore your feelings. My integrative training enables me to tailor my work to individual clients needs using different therapeutic approaches. I’m a relational therapist, this means I believe this can be one of the most important and therapeutic aspects of therapy.
I'm particularly interested in maternal emotional health and wellbeing.
