About me and my therapy practice

*** FIRST SESSION HALF PRICE ***

If you have been feeling worried, anxious, or depressed, or you’ve recently found out you have diagnosis of ADHD or another health condition and you are not sure how to cope with that, you are in the right place.

Or if you would like to improve your self-esteem and learn how to manage your emotions, relationships, your life in general in a way that you would feel better in yourself, happier, it is good to talk.

Counselling can sound first a bit daunting, but I say that therapy sessions give people safe space they need to express themselves. When we feel safe, supported and heard, we can reach a place of greater self-understanding and become more confident in making better, more informed choices in our lives. Anyone can benefit from taking time off and exploring their thoughts and feelings, discover greater confidence and feelings of peace and content they hoped for.

Counselling sessions with me can help you with some of the following (although there is so much more):

• Greater sense of self-worth and self-awareness

• Increased confidence and self-esteem

• Feeling calmer and more relaxed

• Better communication skills

• More intimate and satisfying relationships

• Develop healthier patterns of relating to others

In my sessions, I follow the values of equality, honesty, non-judgemental approach, and all that is said will stay safe and confidential with me.

My practise is mostly held online (you can choose platform of your choice, I usually use zoom) but I can see people face to face, if they prefer that.

I am fully insured, have ongoing clinical supervision and regularly attend courses and further training to enhance my knowledge and professionalism with Continued Professional Development (CPD).

I feel very privileged to see people change for better in a relatively short time and I am passionate about supporting people to see them grow into their “better self.”

Feel free to contact me for more information

Practice description

My style is very personal; every session is about you, whatever you want to bring to the session and whatever pace you want to go, I will honour that, although if I feel you are ready I can help you with a supportive challenge as well.

My primary training is person-centred however I am an integrative counsellor and use techniques from other approaches such as CBT or creative therapy.

I'll work with you to develop self-awareness and understanding of your behaviours, that might have the same patterns, and help you to find the way out by exploring where some of these issues might stem from, as I believe these are important factors when we want to make positive changes in our lives.

As we all are different, every session is tailored to the needs of individual clients. Approach can be changed as we move on in our sessions and maybe get into a different issue to explore. Whatever the issues might be, I am confident the therapy can help anyone to live richer, fuller and more satisfying life.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity to meet - online, via the phone or in person – to answer any questions you might have regarding counselling and the reasons that bring you here. We can then discuss contract details, so we are both clear what to expect from our sessions and how to make the best of them for you. You can then decide whether you want to work together and continue with further sessions.
