About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Vicky to begin I’d like to acknowledge how difficult it can be making that first step to recognising you may need some support. It takes courage to admit you may need a helping hand, or someone to help bear that heavy weight you may be carrying. Something I believe most of us need at some point in our lives. It can be difficult to turn to those closest to us for fear we may be judged or not truly listened to. So, I offer a safe confidential space for you to be heard, and to explore the issues that may be troubling you, in a non-judgemental way. Somewhere you can lead at your own pace.

Practice description

As a professional counsellor I work to the BACP ethical standards and I am committed to working with every client in a respectful way. Whilst recognising that each and every one of us has walked a different path in life. I aim to empower my clients towards towards their desired goals.

I believe it’s only you who understands how your pain, anxiety, loss or depression truly feels. If life feels a little too much for you right now, and you feel stuck and would like to know a little more about me and the therapy I offer, I can provide a free 30-minute introductory session so we can get a feel for one another and how we can work together.
