About me and my therapy practice

I believe it is vital that you find a counsellor that you feel comfortable working with, and this is why I offer an initial free telephone consultation and a reduced cost first counselling session to give you the opportunity to see how you feel about us working together. I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to look at the issues that may be creating concern for you.

In my experience, it can be helpful to talk to friends and family about our problems but being able to speak to someone who is objective and who won't try and advise you what to do can be incredibly helpful. A counsellor will also provide you with their undivided, empathic attention and this can be an invaluable life-affirming experience where you can speak freely and openly about whatever, or whoever you choose.

Counselling can be a brilliant way to see things clearly, or to provide some support when it is most needed. I offer both short and long term counselling and will tailor your sessions in the way that works best for you. I work in an LGBTQ affirmative way and welcome people of all sexual orientations. I also work as a school counsellor.
