Holistic Psychotherapy & Functional Breath Coaching

I combine a range of experience & training in therapy, nutrition coaching, breath training and movement therapy to offer a unique approach to whole-person health.

Clients that come to me often want to:

Shift eating distress & improve nutrition

I’ve been a therapist for a long time (since 2002!). Over the last 8 years I’ve competed internationally as a CrossFit athlete and studied functional movement. Alongside my career in psychotherapy, I found my passion for mind-body health growing rapidly.

Once I landed on the most underestimated and overlooked aspect of our health (breath) and its ties to our autonomic nervous system (ANS), I found a way to integrate the mind-body link into my therapeutic work. This quickly took over the whole of my work and I now offer a unique approach to physical & emotional health that puts the nervous system at the centre of our work together, mirroring its central place in our bodies and our wellbeing.

My work with clients now offers a structured approach to exploring your own nervous system and it's needs. Through 6 or 12 session programs I work with clients to better understand signals from their bodies, to build a safe relationship with the body and increase ability to self-regulate through difficult emotional states and stressors. 


My qualifications include:

Master of Arts in Pastoral Counselling (2000, New York, NY)

Bachelor of Arts, Counselling Psychology (1998, USA)

BACP Accredited since 2009

National Society of Health Coaches (USA) Certified since 2020

Oxygen Advantage Certified Functional Breathing Instructor (2022)

Precision Nutrition Certified Coach (2019)

Shift trained in stress resilience coaching (2019-2022)

Level 1 Functional Fitness Instructor (2022)

Certified in Yoga Nidra (2023)

Practice description

I offer:

1:1 psychotherapeutic coaching in packages of 6 or 12 sessions.  (The first session is no obligation to continue if you feel it's not right for you.)

Online learning programs on breathwork for stress

Online coaching workshops for professionals & clients on sleep, stress & recovery including yoga nidra, breath for stress, perimenopause, and athletic recovery.

My first session

Initial consultations by phone or video are free of charge and last 20 minutes.

First appointments are chargeable but with no obligation to continue should you feel it's not right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Breathwork Training

I am an experienced psychotherapist, health coach & athlete offering breathwork training for anxiety, depression & personal development.  

We spend 100% of our lives breathing. 

Breathwork is use of voluntary breath patterns to access our stress response and activate the entirety of our brain. It is more dynamic than meditation and is proven to improve resilience both physically and mentally. 

I currently offer in person or online 1:1 training sessions. 

Practice description

If you are saying things like ' I should be enjoying myself but I'm not' or 'I can't go on like this, my mood is so low', maybe you're having the occasional meltdown or you just feel you aren't functioning at your best, breathwork can help you.  

This active, switched-on method for accessing and influencing your stress response can help you:
