About me and my therapy practice
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
Are you struggling with a present difficulty or an ongoing issue and you feel you need to talk to someone. Are you experiencing anxiety or stress which is becoming unmanageable. Most of us experience dark times especially given the ongoing pandemic and one of the hardest things is asking for help. I am compassionate and sensitive to your needs and have over 20 years of experience as a counsellor and offer you compassion and kindness in a non judgemental and confidential safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I have experience in working with a diverse range of problems, for example; Relationship problems, low self esteem and lack of confidence, loss and bereavement, Anxiety and stress, depression and Panic attacks. Sometimes we feel like we are struggling but not sure why. Counselling can help make sense of your struggle.
I offer a FREE 15 minute consultation where we can speak together or if you prefer email and discover if the way I work would suit you. It is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have.
Often taking that first step to seek help can seem daunting and scary, I remember feeling that way when I first embarked on my own personal counselling many years ago.
These can be challenging times that can leave us feeling anxious, stressed, confused or worried. Maybe it has highlighted other areas in your life that are causing you distress. I can support and work with you to meet your goals.
Currently, due to the pandemic, I am working online via zoom, telephone, email, text or WhatsApp, whatever way you are most comfortable with. However, if you prefer face to face please contact me.
Online counselling via Zoom face to face and telephone therapy can offer benefits such as the convenience of being at home or in a place of your choice where you feel safe and comfortable. Many of my clients have told me they prefer this way of working and research has shown that it can be just as affective.

My first session
My aim is to work with you and alongside you to help you achieve your goals. I do this by listening to you and asking questions to try and get a sense of what life is like for you, how you are experiencing your world. Being truly listened to without judgment can be immensely powerful.
We all talk to our friends but how often are we thinking they might be judging us or offering advice that is right for them but not for us.
