About me and my therapy practice
Through my career I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt and more recently use of the good life model as a means of helping people bring about change. My counselling training focused on Transactional Analysis – a modality which is very useful in understanding relationships and what drives us to behave as we do. This training also included introduction to paly therapy and as I have previously trained in using drama techniques in helping people to bring about change - this has been particularly useful in my coaching practice.
I also have considerable experience working with Children young people and adults who have suffered trauma using a trauma model based approach. When working with people I will use these techniques in whatever way is appropriate to assist the people I am working with.
