About me and my therapy practice

I  aim to help you find a way forward.

If you are feeling depressed or anxious, for whatever reason, I can help you. Whether it is your relationship, family issues, trauma or difficulties at work, please get in touch.

I have 22 years experience of working with people with depression and feeling unable to cope, and I know that counselling can help you. I can offer you a safe environment to explore whatever it is that you are struggling with.

I offer counselling sessions tailored to suit your needs and your pace. My training was in Person Centred  & Existential Counselling. Together we will explore what is causing your current discomforts and find ways to help you find more effective ways forward, in a safe non judgemental and caring environment. You do not have to feel alone or work things out on your own.

When you feel ready to make the next step, please get in touch.

Practice description

Currently I am working in several different ways. If you live locally, I am happy to see you face to face in Covid safe rooms in Exeter. The Practice Rooms in Castle Street are easily accessible although it does not have wheelchair access.

However, I  am also work  online via  Zoom,  and by phone, so am accessible from anywhere. For those who live locally, I also offer walking/talking sessions.

My first session

I offer a free initial telephone call for us to see if we are a good match and for you to ask any questions you might have about me or the counselling process.

Our first session is an opportunity for you to tell your story and how it is affecting your life.

We will look at which area you want to focus on initially, and explore how to make shifts and changes to help untangle what's going on for you. About me and my therapy practice

I aim to help you see your strengths as a counsellor and to offer you a place to explore your work so that you can become the therapist that you want to be, and thereby offer your clients the best possible experience.

Supervision is a place of learning and reflection. It is a place for exploration, discussion and experimenting with your ideas in a safe and non judgemental space. It is where you can unpick areas which seem complex and enjoy the experience of your own growth.

This is how I like to work with my supervisees and this is what I offer you.

My training was in Integrative Psychosynthesis supervision, which allows for creative thinking and becoming. It embraces thoughts, feeling, behaviours, soulfulness and spirituality.

Practice description

I  see supervisees face to face in Exeter, online via Zoom, or phone sessions.

My first session

I offer a free half hour online meeting for us to see if we are a good fit!

This gives you the opportunity to see how I work and ask any questions you might have.

Following this, if we are going to work together, I will send you a contract and we will agree on frequency etc.
