About me and my therapy practice
In light of the coronavirus situation, I am currently offering online therapy sessions. If you suffering from anxiety and are finding your home life situation extremely stressful and would like therapeutic support, please do get in touch.
I am an experienced person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist based in Chiswick. I offer one to one weekly counselling sessions, on either a long or short-term basis.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by life, struggling with anxiety and depression or feeling lost and unhappy in your relationships with your partner or family, such inner turmoil can make life very difficult, and sometimes it’s hard to talk about, especially to people close to you.
My Counselling Approach
As an experienced person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist, I offer counselling, centred around creating a relationship that builds trust, so you might feel safe enough to overcome your fears to talk about your issues and process what’s going on for you and your emotions. Helping you to understand yourself better can help relieve your distress and give you clarity to overcome the difficulties you are experiencing.
My Training and Experience
I have a First Class BA (Hons) in Person Centred Counselling, having trained for 4 years at the Metanoia Institute.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked with a domestic violence charity, counselling women who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety/panic, low self-esteem, PTSD, loss and bereavement, eating disorders and personality disorders. I have also worked for an organisation specifically counselling parents struggling with the breakdown of family relationships.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and my work abides by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
