About me and my therapy practice

Most of us, at times, experience emotional pain and distress, or life changing situations such as loss or bereavement, which may feel overwhelming. I offer a reflective and confidential space where we can explore those issues that you are finding challenging, such as loneliness, sadness, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress and depressed mood.

I offer face to face sessions near Earl's Court Station, online and on the phone.

I'm a fully qualified psychodynamic counsellor and therapist providing both short and long term help to adults and young adults. My aim is to aid people get a deeper insight into the roots of their problems and explore alternative ways of dealing with them. Therapy can be of help in gaining awareness and make sense of one's own history and identity. By getting to know and accept our real selves, we have a better chance of having more realistic and satisfying relationships.

Practice description

I work with adults of all ages, cultural backgrounds and identities. I offer open-ended therapy, or short-term counselling in person, online and on the phone.

I can be of help in addressing issues such as anxiety and stress, depression, feeling low or stuck, concerns with indecisiveness or procrastination, low self-esteem, feelings of loss and grief, creative blocks, loneliness, panic attacks, and issues around identity. I also help people address relationship and family issues, including parenting, divorce, loss and separation.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). As a BACP member, I am bound to uphold their ethical policies.

I offer sessions in both English and Italian.

My first session

When you get in touch, we will arrange a 10 minutes telephone consulation, which will enable me to hear from you what brings you to therapy and why now. From there we can agree to have an initial meeting (50mins), which may give us deeper understanding of the kind of help you aim to get, of your hopes and fears; it will also enable to develop a formulation of what would be most useful for example, short-term counselling, longer-term therapy or a referral for a different approach or service.

The purpose of the first meeting is also for you to decide if I am the right therapist for you and for me to assess if I am the best person to help you, with no obligation to commit to anything further for the time being.
