About me and my therapy practice

I offer counselling sessions outdoors, either walking or sitting in the various parks in the Kingston/ Richmond area, or along the riverside. I believe in the transformative, healing power of Nature, and also of the importance of awareness of ourselves as embedded within a wider context.

Having previously worked as a massage therapist, I am interested in how the body holds stress. I incorporate my experience with Tai Chi and meditation to enable the embodiment of psychological change.

I completed a BSc degree in Humanistic Counselling at Metanoia Institute. My approach combines Person-centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt philosophies. I offer a relational approach in which the client can explore their issues with autonomy and respect. I am committed to the BACP Ethical Framework, and work openly encompassing cultural and gender diversity.
