About me and my therapy practice
If you are experiencing ongoing difficulties in your life or struggling to cope with emotional issues, you may find therapy really helpful. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which to receive support, reflect deeply on past and present life situations and move toward change.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP (no. 319224). I’m an integrative psychotherapist which means a number of things:
Firstly, it means I see each of us as individuals who may all benefit from different forms of therapy so I work to tailor my approach to each individual client.
Taking an integrative approach also means looking at the process of integrating the personality; taking disowned, unaware, or unresolved aspects of the self and making them part of a cohesive personality.
I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative one, and place the relationship between the therapist and client at the heart of therapeutic success. I am particularly interested in early childhood development and the impact early childhood experiences have on our adult lives. I’m also really interested in dream work. Dreams are messages from our unconscious and they can provide great insight.

Depression, anxiety, anger, stress, trauma, relationship problems, bereavement, self esteem issues, work-related stress.
