About me and my therapy practice
Are you finding things difficult at the moment? Have life's experiences left you struggling somehow? Whatever challenges you're facing it can also be tough finding the right person to talk to, but if you live in the Bury St Edmunds / Sudbury area perhaps I can help?
Hi, I'm Anita. I'm an integrative counsellor and therapist, which means that I draw from different counselling approaches, as well as other psychotherapies, and adapt them according to what works best for you and your situation. First and foremost however, I offer a safe, respectful and confidential space for you to talk and be really heard: A time and place dedicated to unravelling what is going on for you, what you need and what you respond to, so as to help you through difficult times and towards the change you seek.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy from my private client room off the A134 Sudbury Road, on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. You may only need a few sessions to feel better, or you may benefit from us spending longer working together. Between us we’ll work through what’s right for you, your circumstances and your desired outcome.
I especially help with stress, anxiety, worrying, confidence, self-esteem, body image, low mood, negative thinking, loss, unhelpful habits, relationship problems, work related issues, exam anxiety, phobias, weight management and trauma. I also offer wellbeing and personal development coaching.
I'm a firm believer that the therapeutic relationship is key to a successful outcome, so it's important you choose a therapist you are comfortable with. As such, I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation so that you can ask me any questions and get a real sense of how we can work together and how I can help you.
