About me and my therapy practice
Many people find it very beneficial to have a regular time to focus on deeper needs. Too often, we tell ourselves that others are worse off than us and that we should be able to manage. I have seen with clients, time and again, how powerful an experience it can be to explore our thoughts, feelings and assumptions with someone alongside us who is able to be attentive but not personally involved.
I offer a peaceful location ten minutes walk from Glastonbury High Street. Parking also available. The counselling room can be accessed by one fairly small step.
I have come to value the power of our non-verbal thoughts, Some thoughts can be expressed much more easily by image-making than trying to put them into words. We can use art therapy in our work together if you wish. The subconscious expresses itself in many ways.
I can help with issues such as bereavement, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, relationship difficulties, changing relationships, issues from childhood, feeling stuck with your life, uncertain sense of self, creativity not flowing, trauma, either recent or historic, and coping with illness.
