About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my profile.
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor. I am committed to working with clients in a person-centred way, which is to provide a safe, confidential, and open space, working empathically, without judgement and with genuine warmth and care. A relationship based on these conditions will allow you, the client to grow emotionally.
I love learning and research as to how my practice can best benefit both current and future clients.
I am qualified Person Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. In addition to my professional training I have specific experience with respect to bereavement, trauma and addiction.
I am currently offering online sessions via Zoom or alternatively telephone counselling.
Sessions are 50 minutes long.
I adhere to the ethical guidance and framework of the BACP , hold professional indemnity insurance and have regular supervision.
My first session
I offer a free telephone call around 30 minutes long for us both to have the chance to ask some questions and for you to talk about what you hope to work through by engaging in counselling. From here, we can make a decision as to whether it feels right for us to start working together.
The first couple of sessions will include some questions to help me complete an assessment, and I suggest we review how our work together is going, every 6 weeks or so.
