About me and my therapy practice
Wendy Priscott Psychotherapy is an inclusive, anti-oppressive and LGBTQ+ affirmative practice. In a safe and calm space I support people to understand themselves, how to cope with difficult situations and be authentic in who they are.
I have developed a wealth of experience of working with adults and teenagers in different settings and have a belief in people being able to change and develop.
I believe that I work empathically using a range of psychotherapy tools to suit each individuals needs, providing a safe and supportive environment within which this can happen.
During many years working for a national youth charity I gained a strong understanding of the many challenges faced by young people and the support needed for them to move from a stuck place and develop their confidence/self esteem.
I have previously volunteered as a counsellor for the LGBT Foundation.
