----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a Registered BACP Accredited Gestalt counsellor with over 15 years experience, and subscribe to their Ethical Framework. My aim as a counsellor is to assist people who are experiencing problems or difficulties in their lives, to explore and hopefully enable you to achieve an improved work/life balance.

I currently offer a range of therapy options for sessions, through Online (via ZOOM only) and Telephone.

Online and Telephone counselling therapy is assessed on a case-by-case basis, as it is not always suitable for everyone.

Since 2008, I have been offfering online options, which has been very successful. It has provided greater flexibility and easier access to counselling for many people, allowing appointments to fit easier around work commitments, child-care issues or perhaps for those who find talking over video or phone more comfortable.

The available options will be discussed during our initial discussion.

Please Note: Online options are not always suitable for everyone.

Practice description

Working ONLINE/REMOTE via ZOOM (only) or by Telephone

My first session

I offer an initial assessment session to all prospective clients. This is usually a 10-20 minute telephone conversation by phone and is FREE. This provides a chance for you to talk about your reasons in seeking help, and to discuss what hopes and expectations you may have for therapy. I will explain confidentiality and how I work, and offer a chance where you can ask me any questions.

There is no obligation following this assessment. If we both agree to work together, suitable dates and times will be arranged for future on-going therapy sessions - usually weekly. I will be happy to make any suggestions if any onward referral is needed.

At all times you will be heard in a confidential and safe manner and in accordance with the code of ethics of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) of which I am a member. I receive regular supervision from a BACP registered supervisor in order to ensure that I maintain a high standard of practice.
