About me and my therapy practice

Welcome! I offer a warm, relaxed and empathic space to help you develop self-understanding, compassion and acceptance in the face of difficult life experiences.

My specialism is to work with clients with ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. However, I do work with neurotypical clients too.   In addition to my private practice, I have more than twelve years counselling experience working in a variety of therapy and psychology services; and significant experience in working with grief, loss and illness, including: an NHS secondary mental health service, a national bereavement charity, and a local hospice.

I offer a free introductory session to discuss your individual situation.

Practice description

Online video or audio (using Zoom) or phone counselling currently.  All are fully secure and you will be sent a password required to join each Zoom session.  I can offer sessions by email where this is preferred, and also outdoor 'Walk and Talk' in nature therapy.  Face-to-face sessions will resume when the government guidelines alter.

My first session

I offer a free introductory session to determine if I am the right therapist for you before any commitment.  Some people need just a few sessions while others may have long-term psychotherapy over several years.  Together we will decide if I am the best person to work with you.

The sessions thereafter are £40 for 50 minutes.

I work with adults (with or without neurodiversity) and use a variety of techniques dependent on the needs of the individual.
