I can offer you Therapy sessions Online or via telephone:
Zoom, face to face sessions via zoom give a real sense of being with you, whilst adding a great deal of convenience to the situation with no travelling needs.
Telephone sessions can be a hugely practical alternative for you if you do not want to or are not able to access therapy online. Other than not seeing each other, the therapy itself does not change.
I am an Integrative Therapist offering a combination of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Theory tailored to suit your individual needs.
From a Person-Centred perspective I can work with you as an individual, focussing in the moment with you remaining at the centre of the work being done, autonomy and choice remaining yours and moving with your needs.
From a Psychodynamic perspective I can work with you in exploring your entire self from a present, past and future day perspective. I can support you in exploring, identifying and connecting your emotional responses, trigger events or behaviours to gain a deeper understanding to their where these came from.
From a Transactional Analysis perspective I can work with you in understanding your entire self and how this is made up, the factors and triggers that influence you and why you make the choices you make.
From a Cognitive Behavioural perspective I can work with you in identifying your individual thought processes, exploring the link between your thoughts and your feelings and help you in understanding how your feelings, thoughts, behaviours and actions link and interact.
Not every type of therapy suits every person and this is okay but exploring different areas is the key to finding the way forward!
My first session
Our initial session will be based around you, your needs, hopes and goals and what has brought you to therapy, giving you the space to talk and freedom to express yourself in a safe environment.
This session is also an opportunity to explore the client/therapist relationship which is a big part of the counselling journey, you need to feel comfortable with your therapist, I can offer you the space to do that.
