About me and my therapy practice
Are you looking for emotional support? Do you need space to talk? Are you struggling with life changes?
I offer face to face counselling in a large and well ventilated space, and online sessions using the software package Zoom. I also offer telephone sessions. Please get in touch if you would like further information.
I am a qualified, fully insured and experienced counsellor, working in private practice in Morley, Leeds. I offer emotional support to adults who feel challenged by anxiety, relationships issues, bereavement, loss or grief.
I welcome neurodiverse, neurotypical, ASD and ADHD clients. If you need space to talk or are struggling with life changes, I may be able to help. The aim of our sessions is to help you have a better understanding of yourself, and to work through issues to enable a happier and more settled life. I understand first hand that life can feel overwhelming and confusing and that it can be difficult to reach out for help.
I work from a person centred approach, putting you and your individual experiences at the heart of what we do and offer a safe, non-judgemental environment that will support you to find your own solutions and strengths.
I work from comfortable counselling rooms, with free parking at
Archbold House on Albert Road, Morley.
Practice description
I offer short-term counselling and more in-depth, on-going flexible counselling support. To provide you with an opportunity to meet me and ask any questions you may have in the first instance, I offer an initial 60 minute meeting. This gives us chance to discuss what you hope to get out of counselling and whether I feel like the right person to support you. If you're happy to continue we'll take it from there.
My first session
An important factor in the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client is the chemistry between them.
How I work is to offer an initial informal meeting which would give you the opportunity to ask any further questions you may have about me and counselling; and us both an opportunity to see how we could work together and what you would want from sessions.
An initial session lasts up to 60 minutes.

About me and my therapy practice
I have a Diploma in the Practice of Supervision through the Leeds Centre for Psychological Development. My core training is the Seven-eyed Model. I enjoy working with qualified therapists, trainees and groups.
Practice description
I see supervision as a respectful and safe collaborative space to enable practitioners to feel supported, learn and grow through reflective practice and gain a deeper understanding of their client work. It’s a space to share honestly about what’s happening in practice without a fear of judgement, and explore any feelings that may arise around self-doubt, isolation and burnout. Working safely and ethically is at the heart of my supervisory practice. My first session
Before agreeing to work together I offer a free telephone consultation so we can have a discussion about what your supervisory needs are and what's on offer from me.
