About me and my therapy practice
I tailor supervision to the individuals needs and adapt my approach in order to allow supervisees the space to reflect on their work, increase self-awareness and address their personal effectiveness.
I believe that trust and integrity in the supervisory relationship are an essential foundation to develop reflective practitioners who are effective, professional and ethical in their work.
My personal aim as a supervisor is that my supervisees will have a valuable experience from working with me. It is essential that this is a collaborative process between me and my supervisees. Therefore, regularly addressing the supervisory relationship and reviewing the supervision process is important to ensure that any difficulties are addressed and overcome.
I feel that building an open and trusting environment with clear boundaries and contracts around roles, responsibilities and expectations are key to its success.
