About me and my therapy practice

I have worked with both female and male survivors of physical and sexual abuse and have a particular interest in this type of counselling work. I also openly embrace working with clients spirituality in my counselling practice.

Practice description

My core training is Person Centred and I work at a pace my clients feel comfortable with, and work together to enable new ways of being to be discovered, so enabling clients to achieve their full potential. Through this process clients are better able to handle the stresses and strains of everyday life, and provide more effective and positive solutions to their issues moving forwards.

I will use additional modalities of CBT and Solution focused brief therapy for those clients that may benefit from them, and will happily work with the spiritual dimension of a clients experience.

My first session

During the first session I will complete a client intake form along with a confidentiality agreement, and agree on fees and the timing of future sessions.

The first session is very much a "getting to know" one another session, where clients are free to ask any questions, especially if new to therapy!
