About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist specialising in eating disorder, addiction, trauma and men's issues. At my private practice, I provide a safe, supportive and professional environment for people to explore their difficulties and ultimately make positive changes in their lives.

We all face challenges in life, whether it be moving away from destructive behaviours, learning to manage complex emotions, working through family or relationship issues or simply dealing with the varying and often conflicting demands everyday life can bring. I work with clients to help them identify their goals and move towards positive and sustainable solutions.

I am an eclectic practitioner, meaning I draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches, which enables me to effectively meet the individual needs of the clients I work with. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues, and have a specialist interest in eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa & binge eating disorder, and all forms of addiction, including substance abuse as well as process addictions such as gambling, pornography, sex, work, gaming etc. I also work with all forms of trauma and utilise a trauma-informed approach in my work.

I work with clients, on both a short and long term basis, in a safe and comfortable private practice setting in Old Woking. If you would like to contact me to discuss how we might work together to resolve any issues you may be facing, please do so, in confidence, and we can arrange an initial meeting and assessment. From there, we can discuss how best to proceed. Having your issues heard in a non-judgmental environment is often vital for initiating the process of change.
