About me and my therapy practice
Hello there, I’m a fully qualified Integrative Therapist which essentially means that I work in a way that accommodates your needs. First and foremost it’s about us working together, developing trust and enabling you to have the dedicated time and space to explore aspects of your life . It’s looking at the whole picture, understanding where you are and how you got there. It can be practical, looking at specific ways improve how you feel. It is frequently about developing ways in which you can develop a compassion towards yourself that fosters growth for the future.
Internal Family Systems Therapy
This mode of therapy is particularly effective if you are struggling with conflicting thoughts or feelings, or react in ways seem to be out of kilter with the situation in which you find yourself.

There is an ever-growing body of evidence to show that what we eat and how we move our bodies can impact our wellbeing. If you feel that this is an area of your life that may need some attention, this can be incorporated into our work together.
I work online via Zoom and also see clients from my home in Cranleigh. Walk & Talk therapy takes places in and around the Cranleigh area.
My first session
I am very aware that taking the first step to getting some help can be daunting and I endeavour to make the whole process as straightforward as possible.
The first session is a free 30 minute initial consultation arranged at a mutually convenient time.
- We briefly discuss the nature of your difficulties and what you’re hoping to get from therapy
- You have the opportunity to ask any questions, address any concerns
- We can talk about availability, frequency requirements
- And we can talk about anything els that you feel is important at this early stage.
You will then have the opportunity after the session to reflect and decide whether it is right for you to go ahead and book some sessions.
