About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Ruth, a qualified and registered BACP counsellor with 15 years experience of individual counselling and group work in a variety of settings.

Practice description

Life can be difficult and reaching out for the right help can feel confusing. I see my role as working alongside you on your journey, supporting you to develop your understanding and knowledge and find inner resources to implement lasting change. I will bring warmth, energy, experience and knowledge to our work together in the pursuit of your goals.I can offer sessions face to face or online with the flexibility of on-going or shorter term work.

My main training is psychodynamic but like to work in a way that most benefits the individual so will draw on other training and knowledge to tailor the sessions to individual needs.

My first session

I offer an initial 30 minute telephone discussion free of charge prior to the first session.
