About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Senior Accredited therapist with 25 years’ experience and have worked as a qualified supervisor for 18 years. My core philosophy is Person-Centred/Humanistic. As a counsellor, I have worked for a range of agencies and organisations including schools, a young people’s counselling service, Goldsmith’s University and the London Ambulance Service alongside my private practice, which I’ve had since 1995. In addition to my work as a supervisor of counsellors working with adults in a variety of settings, I have extensive experience of supervising practitioners working with children and young people. For me, supervision is supportive, consultative, educative, stimulating, purposeful, challenging, creative, enjoyable and is your greatest resource in extending and developing your professional practice. It’s a serious, but not sombre business and should be something you look forward to!
