About me and my therapy practice
First, let me offer a warm welcome. Finding a therapist and deciding to seek help and support can be quite a step so as you find yourself here reading this, I would like to say hello and welcome.
I offer a safe and accepting environment without judgment to help you explore your present difficulties and consider how your past experiences or thoughts on your future could be impacting you and your life now.
I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. I work relationally, meaning the relationship that we co-create is at the heart of your therapy, therefore, the connection we have is a fundamental component of our time together. I offer a safe and calm environment to help you grow towards a more harmonious way of being
During our time together we can look at what has brought you to seek help and together we can work towards enhancing your self-awareness enabling you to manage yourself and your life in a more pleasing way for you. In working with your emotions, thoughts and feeling, which can be overwhelming, we will find a way to be where you would like.
I work within multiple modalities: Person Centred Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and dream work. This enables me to guide and support you, as an individual to take the steps together at your pace in a confidential and comfortable environment.
Many organisations offer an Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP). This is offered to help and assist employees deal with difficulties that may impact or affect their performance at work. About me and my therapy practice
I can offer integrative supervision to qualified and experienced counsellors and student counsellors.
All counsellors need support, and supervision should be a reliable time for you to share your practice, your thoughts, your process, your hopes and your fears. I feel greatly supported in my supervision, both on professional and personal levels. This is what I aim to offer you.
Practice description
Much like my counselling and psychotherapy practice I work relationally, meaning the relationship that we co-create is at the heart of your supervision. Therefore, the connection we have is a fundamental component of our time together. The sessions will be safe, respectful and non-judgemental where you will feel supported to help you with what you need.
My integrated model of practice is based on psychodynamic, humanistic, attachment, existential, psychoanalytical and CTB. We will explore what is going on with your clients in the work you do together to ensure we are working in the best interest of your clients.
My first session
We will work together to create a style that suits you, it is important to be able to work in whatever style suits you and we will create this together. During our session, together, you will be presenting your client work, we will discuss and explore what is going on for the client, as well as what the client may be bringing out in you. I aim to develop an equal relationship in supervision
Please contact me if you would like to discuss how we could work together or for any other information.
