Availability

At the moment I am offering Zoom sessions to new clients at a rate of £30 for a counselling hour (50 mins). I am only be to take new clients who are willing and able to meet face-to-face once lockdown restrictions are lifted.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a registered therapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means I meet 'the high standards of proficiency, professionalism, and ethical practice' required by them.

I work with individual adults in a face-to-face setting where the work is open-ended and flexible. Whether you want long-term or short-term therapy, I am able to offer a calm, safe space for you to process whatever it is that you're seeking therapy for.

Practice description

RELATIONAL

I work in a relational way, treating each client as a unique individual with a unique set of circumstances. I aim to really understand what each person is dealing with.

INTEGRATIVE

There are many different types of therapy that inform my work such as Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

CREATIVE

Sometimes words are not adequate to express how we are feeling, and so it can be useful to utilise creative techniques such as drawing or using the imagination.

NON-JUDGEMENTAL

The space I offer is safe and non-judgemental. I aim to accept and support you in a warm and caring environment as you explore your inner thoughts and feelings.

My first session

In your first session we will go through our working agreement, complete a CORE-10 form (this gives me an idea of your general mood over the last couple of weeks), and then I will ask you to tell me more about yourself and what has brought you to therapy.

It may be that we don't click and that's okay. It's vitally important that you find the right therapist for you, and if that isn't me I am happy to signpost you on to another therapist who may be better suited.

What I can help with

Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues

Types of therapy
