About me and my therapy practice

Hi My name is Sue Couzens, I am an experienced  Accredited BACP Counsellor.  I offer non-judgemental Person Centred Therapy in a safe and confidential space in which to explore your feelings.  I believe that empathy and compassion are key to the counselling relationship.

At times life can be difficult and feel like a struggle, counselling can help you to make sense of what is going on for you and help you to move forward. Many people come to counselling feeling 'stuck' in aspect of their lives or relationships and are needing help to process and move through these experiences.

My aim is to help you to express and understand your feelings, to find a way forward that will help you overcome stresses and difficulties in your life.  I am passionate about helping people suffering from depression and mental health issues and work together with you to find ways of coping and improving your well-being.

I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, relationship issues, work-related issues, self harm, addictions, stress, low self esteem and self confidence.
